I have been digging J.Lo's newest effort, Love?, and the bumpin' track "Starting Over" is just one of the many highlights. - Mikey

"Show of Handsome"

Mikey,

I want you to go to your happy place.

Are you there?

I need you to think of the most wonderful thing imaginable.

Now add Ben & Jerry's ice cream, Zac Efron, and a unicorn.

Welcome to MY happy place.

I brought you here so that you can get an idea of how I felt when I discovered the video I'm about to share (thank you Rachel Adams!). So you remember that 30 second Jimmy Kimmel promo I was creaming my pants over in my last post? Well, turns out it was only part of a nearly 10 minute sketch that ran on Kimmel's post-Oscar show last night -- The Handsome Men's Club.

There's some serous star power in this thing: John Krasinski, Patrick Dempsey, Gilles Marini, Josh Hartnett, Sting, Rob Lowe, Ted Danson (via AIM), Ethan Hawke, Keith Urban, Matthew McConaughey, Ben Affleck, Tony Romo, Taye Diggs, Lenny Kravitz, Matt Damon, and a girl...Jennifer Garner.

Now I'm not all that surprised by the good showing of ABC dudes (Patrick, Gilles, Rob, Taye), but what about  the other guys? How does something like this get pulled off? No, really. I want to know.

Here are a couple teaser-shots. You get the video after the jump.

The take-away form all this is that I need to watch Jimmy Kimmel more often, and Gilles Marini should always be shirt-less.

I finally got a chance to watch this and...I don't think I can adequately express the awesomeness in coherent phrases. The range of talent was mind-blowing. I am also in the camp of "must...watch...Jimmy Kimmel."

The only way I can see that they were able to do this is to film it in small groups - the entire group is rarely together in one shot. The only time they are I paused it and it definitely looks altered. Also, any time the camera pans or a person walks behind another, it appears to be a stand-in, and you don't see the person from the neck up. Regardless, it is a fantastic feat.

My favorite line was: "Spanks. F*cking spanks." Topped only by the entire segment with Lenny Kravitz.

Pure, unadulterated genius.
