Ever since I heard "Adventures in Solitude" on Ugly Betty, The New Pornographers' album Challengers has been getting nonstop airplay in my abode. But this exquisite initial tune is still the song I come back to most often. - Mikey

Google's Super Bowl Ad: Parisian Love

I know this is just an ad, but honestly, it's so sweet it gave me goose bumps. AND a toothache. The video, titled "Parisian Love," one of a series of "Search Stories" on YouTube. It was posted about two months ago, and, as of tonight, has been viewed almost 1.3 million times. Can you imagine if it caused goose bumps every time?

Lord Google is taking over the world. I know this. And I'm kinda okay with it.

That brought a tear to my eye. And I loved the warm, constant tone of the piano.

And yes, I am also okay with Google ruling the world. I can think of a whole lot worse people for the job.

I LOVED THIS AD. I didn't really watch anything else but thought this was brilliant.
